RoboExplorers Workshop Syllabus and Registration

Enroll in Upcoming Session 

  • Upcoming session at MSOE: 5 Saturday starting Apr 19th ( Apr 19, Apr 26 May 3, May 17, May 31 ) Morning 9-11 am. MSOE STEM Center, 1444 N Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

The workshop is divided into five, couple hours sessions.  Contact us if you are not able to make it to 1st session and we can try and accomodate you in 2nd.

Students would be divided into smaller groups of 2-3 and get hands on experience working with intelligent spike prime robots to build applications that simulate real life applications.  The applications include

  • Warehouse Forklift (order picking) simulationLego EV3 robot and Smartphone Android ...
  • Tesla auto drive simulationLego Spike Prime - robotman.com.au
  • Robo Vaccum cleaner simulationRobot Designs
  • The students also get to compete in solving fun and learning assignments, build lego robot attachments. 
  • Students get to learn coding techniques (loops, if statements, pseudo code etc.) using easy drag and drop block coding 
  • They also get some simple homework assignments to try. 
  • Those who complete the course get certificate of completion and medals. 


Who can sign up ? 

  • Any student between 3-10th grade
  • Block coding beginner / Intermediate level  (Not for advanced level) 
  • Can participate in majority of the sessions. Learning is progressive so if student misses out on 2 or more consecutive sessions, it would hard to catch up.
