It is Sewa International's mission to promote volunteerism in the community. We offer the LEAD (Leadership Development through Community Engagement) program for young people to learn about and participate in volunteering. LEAD is a Summer Internship Program for high school students. It introduces socially conscious leadership to young adults. The interns commit to offering a minimum of 50 hours of service, including direct service in volunteer events. Interns listen to lectures by community leaders from various fields such as business, politics, non-profits, media, art, social work, and many others. Sewa International also offers the Get Inspired Summer Internships to college students. “Get Inspired” is another annual summer internship program that Sewa offers to college and high school students. It provides a platform for young adults to explore and innovate new ideas and be instrumental in providing resources for the ongoing projects of Sewa International.
