Shashi Visweswaraiah
Shashi Visweswaraiah Shashi is a long-time resident of Austin, working as a semiconductor chip-design engineering manager, with experience on a wide-variety of automotive, networking and infotainment products. Shashi has been volunteering with Sewa Austin chapter since it's inception in January 2020. He is passionate about serving the local community through #ServeAustin and getting our youth involved in community service through L.E.A.D. During Covid, has been involved in bringing the Austin-area Indian community organizations together for a fundraiser to Central Texas Food Bank . Prior to joining Sewa, he volunteered with Austin Kannada Sangha, serving as President of the executive committee. |

Archana Shashidhar
Archana Shashidhar Archana has been associated with Sewa since 2020, actively volunteering with hot meals and grocery distributions. She has previously worked as a Genetic Analyst. For the last 2 years, she's been the LEAD coordinator as well as (interim) #Serve Austin coordinator. She volunteers at Chinmaya Mission Austin as well and enjoys giving back to the community through volunteering with Sewa International and Chinmaya Mission. |
Ranganath Bande
Ranganath Bande Ranganatha Bande has been a resident of Austin, Texas since 2005. He is married to Bharathi, and they have two sons, Karthik and Kaushik. Ranganatha has been actively involved with Sewa International since 2019 and is currently leading Case Management and Family Emergency Services. |

Maya Guggari
Maya Guggari Maya was introduced to Sewa international just around the corona pandemic time and helped organize meal kits and care packages for the needy in the community. She has been involved in the community over the past 20 years serving in various capacities in school committees/ Boy scout organizations and Austin Kannada Sangha as a way to give back to the society. Maya is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University and has over fifteen years of experience as Nutrition support dietitian and presently works at a local hospital’s Intensive care unit in Austin. |

Supriya Rao
Supriya Rao Supriya is a licensed Certified Public Accountant(CPA), in Texas. She has extensive public accounting experience in the taxation industry working with high-net-worth individuals, closely held entities, and mid-size businesses. Supriya is very socially active in the community and is associated with several cultural and non-profit organizations. She is very passionate about women's empowerment and child education for the underprivileged. It is this passion that drove her toward Sewa's SHE program. Work hard, be kind and amazing things will happen is her life mantra. |
Tisya Dave
Tisya Dave Tisya is a senior at Westwood High School who is hardworking, creative, and passionate about serving her community. She has been involved with Sewa since 7th grade and has volunteered through a variety of service projects over the years. Tisya conceptualized the partnership between the Sewa Austin Chapter and Ronald McDonald House Charities and has helped coordinate RMHC volunteering activities. She leads with empathy and continues to take on active leadership roles both within Sewa and at school, including involvement in Hindu YUVA and HOSA. Tisya hopes to pursue a career in pediatrics in the future, reflecting her interest in helping and caring for others. Outside of service and school, she enjoys dance, including Bharatanatyam and Garba, as well as traveling. |

Surya Swaminathan
Surya Swaminathan Surya is a highly motivated junior at Round Rock High School. He enjoys problem solving, technology, innovation and has a passion to serve his community. Surya has been involved with Sewa Austin for the last two years as a volunteer and then a student mentor. Through these opportunities as well as the promotional media manager for his high school co-op, Surya has gained valuable leadership skills and team work. In the role of Vasundhara Sewa coordinator, Surya is excited to lead projects with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact. Surya is an American Redcross certified Lifeguard, Water Safety instructor and a tutor. Surya also loves hiking and gaming. |
