Dr. Hira Fotedar is the ex-President, Sewa International, Cleveland where he has volunteered since 2008. He is the owner of Fotedar Associates LLC. He joined Eaton as manager, product engineering, in the automotive group and rose to various corporate leadership positions in product design and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, operational and business excellence. He retired as Vice President Corporate Quality and Operational Excellence, Eaton Corporation where he served as Chief Quality Officer.

Prior to joining Eaton, Dr. Fotedar was Associate Professor at the Isntituto de Pesquisas Energia Nuclear (IPEN) Sao Paulo, Brazil where he established programs and conducted research in materials for nuclear and automotive industries. He currently serves on the National Advisory Board of The National Resource Centre for Materials Technology Education.

Dr. Fotedar is the Founder and former President of Indo-American Kashmir Forum (IAKF) a human rights advocacy on behalf of Kashmiri Hindu refugees.

Dr. Fotedar holds a B.S, Metallurgical Engineering from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, India, M.S and PhD in the same field from the University of Washington, Seattle. He is ASQ Fellow, a Founder and former Chairman, Ohio Partnership for Excellence. He is an Alumnae of Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Examiners. He is the recipient of numerous corporate and industry awards for excellence in leadership and service.

Sunil is the President of Cross Thread Solutions and a Director of Sewa International Cleveland. As the President of Cross Thread Solutions and a Strategic Planning & Finance Management Executive assists many Fortune 100 & 500 companies in designing their financial planning and consolidation applications. As a Cost & Management Accountant, he had held leadership roles for various companies in India.

Sunil has a long history of working with non-profits in the areas of education. He is the Founding Director of Young Innovators’ Society. This organization was founded in 2011 with the primary focus of encouraging students in the K-12 programs to get more interested in the STEAM fields. Over the past 7 years, we have had over 1800 students who were taught robotics, 3D printing, entrepreneurship and other skills. He personally teaches robotics to high school students. Many of the students were able to win in the regional tournaments in robotics and have also represented and won many trophies at the state level.

Prior to joining Sewa, Sunil was the President of the Ekal Cleveland chapter and was involved in spreading the awareness for the functional literacy programs that are being offered to the most rural and underserved areas in India.

Currently, he is also the coach for the Solon High School Academic World Quest team. This team has recently won the regional tournament and is going to the National competition this April.

Sunil in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, he is also a Certified Cost & Management accountant. He also holds many certifications in software applications.

Dr.Reema Gulati, M.D. is Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology at MetroHealth Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Case School of Medicine. She graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College/University of Delhi where she received her M.B.B.S. with honors in physiology. She completed her Pediatric residency at MetroHealth where she received ‘End of Year Exam’ awards for academic excellence. Thereafter, she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic. She is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and specializes in treatment of gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional diseases in children. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gulati is an ardent researcher and a champion of wholesome community health. Her special interests are in: - childhood fatty liver disease; health literacy; and health disparities in marginalized populations. She authors a monthly column MetroHealthy in a community newspaper. An eloquent orator, she has been invited as an expert speaker at prestigious city events like Mayor Frank Jacksons ‘Back to School’ fair, City Hall, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s ‘Ask the Expert’, Plain Dealer, and television like Channel 5 and Fox 8. She regularly publishes original research in peer-reviewed medical journals and has contributed in writing book chapters. Dr. Gulati has received awards and scholarships like ‘Chairman’s Award for Clinical Excellence’, ‘Poster of Distinction’ at scientific meetings, CaseCAN Faculty Scholarship- a workforce development program funded by the Ohio Department of Medicaid (MedTAPP) She completed Case’s FLEX professional development program for women faculty of school of medicine and currently serves as a passionate mentor to other women faculty, medical residents and students at Case.

Dr. Gulati was recently selected for the two year PCTE faculty development fellowship program at MetroHealth for career advancement. She is currently enrolled in a Masters in Public Health Program with the goal of pursuing a career in population health leadership and management.
