Chapter: PA-DE

PA-DE, a northeastern U.S. state and one of the 13 original colonies, has a diverse terrain, which includes wide stretches of farmland, national forests and mountains. Philadelphia, the Keystone State’s largest city, displays its rich history in Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and the Liberty Bell, an enduring symbol of American freedom.

Sewa PA-DE is a Chapter of Sewa International USA. All people are welcome to join.

    Sewa International - Pennsylvania/Delaware

    LEAD PA/DE 2025 - Leadership Program for High School Students

    General Eligibility: High School Students ( in or incoming), i.e, current 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th graders.  Only students who are sincerely committed to the Sewa mission should apply.

    Selection Criteria: Limited seats,  on first come first serve basis.  

    Program Fee: $150 / candidate.  To pay the costs of the program.

    Application Deadline: January 1st, 2025 (will close early if we reach capacity) 

    Please Note: Each applicant must be accompanied by an adult volunteer, who can participate in the Sewa LEAD activities.  Adult volunteers are mandated to participate 4 hours every month for mentoring the youth (youth volunteers could be prevented from attending activities if adult volunteers do not participate).
