Sewa International's Toilet and Hygiene Project for a Girl Child
Sewa International is a non-profit charitable organisation working towards world peace and harmony. Started in 1989, Sewa serves humanity regardless of race, religion, caste, colour, gender or religion.
Sewa International’s Toilet and Hygiene Project for a girl child was conceived to provide sanitation facilities to the vulnerable section of our society by overcoming social and cultural norms of accepted practice of open defecation.
There are several ‘Rights’ given to citizens of India which we utilise and get benefit from under constitution law, but somehow we felt the need to give “Right to Sanitation Facilities” to our women and girl children who faces several challenges everyday just to attend nature calls in safe and secure environment.
