Sewa Day is our Annual day of Service that is celebrated globally in all the Chapters around the country. Sewa Volunteers get together and plan Sewa Day events for their Chapter over the period of a year and serve their communities. . In the past Houston, the team has taken up Beach Clean up as well Houston Food Bank as an activity for Sewa Day.

A key programs for Sewa International, Houston Chapter is focused on volunteer development through programs such as Serve Houston ,Get Inspired Houston and Lead Houston.

We received the 2015 Jefferson Award for Service from Mayor Annise Parker, for promoting Volunteerism in Youth. Every month young and old Sewa volunteers go out and serve needy nonprofits in the Greater Houston Area. Our Internships over summer promote volunteerism and servant leadership among youth.
