Ramesh Deshpande comes from a small village, Rajgurunagar, near Pune (India) He specializes in investment and finance including banking; agriculture and rural development, and public finance management. He worked for the Reserve Bank of India, the World Bank in Washington DC, and a US-based private consulting company on a number of projects in India and some twenty other countries. Among his voluntary activities, Ramesh has been instrumental in the formation of the Life In Yoga Foundation at Washington DC and has been its Chairman since inception in 2005 to 2012. Currently Ramesh works with India’s public and private sector institutions on restructuring, revitalization and reform issues concerning agriculture and rural development. He also devotes some time for activities of Sewa International, USA.
Narsimha Koppula is passionate about US-India relations and service activities in India. He has been Executive Director US-India Security Forum (USISF) since 2009 where he was instrumental in conducting many successful events with experts in various security domains to help US and India to understand each other and increase cooperation on various defense and security fields. Prior to that, for many years he conducted events on US-India related issues under Deen Dayal Upadhaya Foundation in Washington DC. He actively participates with various service organizations including SEWA USA, EKAl Vidyalaya, IDRF, Chinmaya Mission, HSS and others. He supports local and national Indian organizations and promotes participation of Indian-American community in US political process.
