Beach Cleanup

Central Jersey volunteers organized a community beach cleanup at Union Beach with the goal of addressing coastal pollution and protecting the local marine ecosystem. Volunteers worked together to remove plastic waste, bottles, fishing debris, and other litter that had accumulated along the shoreline. This initiative not only helped restore the natural beauty of the beach but also raised awareness about the impact of plastic pollution on marine life and coastal habitats.

Youth volunteers, families, and community members actively participated in collecting and sorting waste, learning about environmental sustainability and responsible waste management in the process. Through this initiative, participants gained a deeper understanding of how community-driven efforts can contribute to preserving natural resources and protecting the environment for future generations.
