Hurricane Melissa Relief — Rebuilding Lives in the Caribbean

Hurricane Melissa Relief Efforts — Sewa International Responds

Hurricane Melissa has brought unprecedented devastation to several Caribbean islands, leaving behind widespread destruction of homes, schools, and livelihoods. Heavy rains, flooding, and powerful winds have displaced thousands of families and disrupted access to electricity, clean water, and healthcare.

In keeping with our motto “Nar Sewa Narayan Sewa” (Serving Humanity is Serving Divinity), Sewa International USA has launched the Hurricane Melissa Relief Campaign to support affected communities in the Caribbean.

Our Immediate Relief Focus:

Sewa volunteers and partner organizations across the region are working tirelessly to:

  • Provide emergency food and water supplies to affected families
  • Set up temporary shelters and hygiene stations for displaced individuals
  • Support medical camps and distribute essential medicines
  • Mobilize local volunteer networks for relief coordination and community rebuilding
