Sewa International provides welfare services to refugees through its Refugee Empowerment Program. Sewa housed 80,000 Bhutanese refugee asylees from 2008-2013. We are actively involved with Afghanistan refugee settlement at present. The services provided under this program range from language assistance, food and clothing drives, educational workshops for citizenship application, health camps, and after-school tutoring centers for children.
