The Sewa Dancing Stars dance competition will now be held on Saturday, Aug 27th, 2022, at the Houston Durga Bari between 11 am and 6 pm to better accommodate our participants availability.
This competition benefits educational programs supporting refugee and immigrant populations living in Southwest Houston. To learn more about our education programs, please visit www.sewaaspire.com.The funds generated through this program will directly benefit the students in our centers, located in multi-unit residential facilities in Southwest Houston, and students studying in the Alief school district. We seek your support to help these students succeed.
This year's program is even more special as we celebrate the 75th year of India’s Independence Day. Sewa International's “Dancing Stars” team is partnering with the Houston Office of the Consul General of India to celebrate the art and culture of India.
