LEAD is a program by Sewa International available for all High school students and Rising 9th graders in the DMV area - Registration Period ends on January 31st, 2024.This program aims to expose our youth to volunteer opportunities till October 31st 2024. Students who complete this program will be eligible for Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)*.Estimated volunteer hours that Sewa chapter provides to the registered LEADs:1. Chapter community services: 50 Hours: Sandwich drive, Adopt a Hwy, Temple Sewa, Tree plantation, Senior Center, Cards for Cancer survivors, Loudoun County Backpack Coalition.2. Chapter Events: 8 - 70 Hours: 5K Run, Ganesh Utsav, Sewa Diwali, Yoga Day3. Youth for Sewa board activities: 50 Hours: Organize events, Support the DTL Coordinator (Ram ji)4. Internship: 4 positions: 64 Hours5. Individual Social Projects and campaigns: (20 - 100 Hours)6. ADG Free clinic in Silver Spring (2 - 80 Hours)In order to apply, please use the Register button.7.
