Animation Camp for LEAD Participants
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON JULY 28TH
Sewa International Bay Area Chapter offering an opportunity to LEAD-2020 kids to learn Animation and Help Sewa by creating Animated videos portraying Sewa Activities. Program Highlights:
Partner: EnActe Academy
Description: EnActe Arts signature program: technology meets the arts as students will learn the technical process of designing and creating animated character models, then intertwining that with the creative process of positioning those characters in scenes, and performing with voice as the character in a final 60-second scene!
Curriculum:Unit 1: Creating a Character Mode Unit 2: Animating the Character Model Unit 3: Writing a Scene & Vocal WorkUnit 4: Performing the Animated Scene
Specifically, students will be designing layered motion-capture puppets on their own in Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC, then interlinking and importing their puppets into Adobe Character Animator CC, which will utilize facial recognition software to animate and give voice to their puppets. The instructor will walk the students through the step-by-step processes of design, implementation, interfacing, and execution.
Learning Goals: For future engineers, programmers, computer scientists, writers and directors! Output: Students will be split into teams and will create marketing videos for SEWA initiatives using animation characters and performing techniques learnt in this class to narrate their SEWA stories. These videos will be used by SEWA in their Sales and Marketing efforts.
Duration: Every Sunday 10 AM - 12 PM. August 2nd to October 11th.

Note: If 100% attendance and completion of Sewa project is not done, you will be responsible to pay the camp fee of 150$.
