Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission is providing affordable Health Care facility to the weaker section of the society, since four decades. Quality of service is not compromised to make it affordable. To improve treatment of cardiology diseases Sewa International is partnering with SVMM to raise funds for CathLab Machine

• In Vidarbha and central INDIA there is only one government super speciality hospital that caters to heart surgeries.There is tremendous rush of the patients form lower economic strata and there is a long waiting period for the surgery as they are not able to afford the treatment charges in private hospital.

• There is no other centre offering free or subsidized pediatric heart surgery.

Present situation at SVMM - Due to non availability of facility and needed equipment ( CathLab Machine ) they were not able to treat the patients

Availability of this CathLab machine we are seeking funds for in the new centre will be useful for 11 nearby districts.This will improve the quality of life and chances of survival by reducing the current mortality rate which is 35 to 50 thousand kids due to progression of disease in this non-affording population.
