The second wave of the COVID- 19 pandemic is rapidly spreading in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh. Active cases of the virus have been found in rural and tribal areas of all districts.
New hot spots/clusters are developing in villages and small towns. Lack of awareness / literacy is worsening the situation and lack of medical facilities, ambulances and supply of oxygen is causing an increase in fatal cases.
Lots of kids have also lost their parents and need support for their secure future.
Sewa International has started a fundraising campaign to set up covid care centers in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh, ensure the supply of lifesaving medical equipment like oxygen-concentrators, pulse oximeters, medicines, as well as basic grocery supplies.
