India has seen a huge increase in the number of COVID -positive cases in the last few days. As of April 24, 2021, it is estimated that some 17 million people have tested positive, and that the number of deaths are increasing and is now hovering around 190,000. The spike in cases is causing a dire shortage of Oxygen in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and other cities across the nation. We are working on raising funds to acquire the much-needed oxygen-concentrators and ship them to hospitals in India that require them. This would ensure people who are seriously sick get the treatment they need in Delhi and other places. Our goal is to support Sewa's initiative to procure and deliver oxygen concentrators to India. We therefore appeal to you in this moment of crisis to generously donate and we count on your gracious support to help India in this hour of need.
