Sewa International DC chapter, as a part of "Adopt a Highway" program, has adopted one mile stretch of Fairfax County Parkway between Lee Highway and Braddock Road. The chapter is organizing next Highway Clean up activity on 7/17 (Sunday) from 9 AM to 11 AM.
Vests and Trash Bags will be provided. Please bring your own gloves and mask and maintain social distancing during volunteering.
2 Volunteer hours will be awarded by Sewa International for this volunteer work.
Please note: Kids 12 or younger participating in the event must be accompanied by their parents/supervising adults.
Following the highway cleanup, Youth for Sewa will be hosting an interest meeting for middle and high school students to learn more about Youth for Sewa Activities.
