Wisconsin Singing Idol Competition 2024 - Guidelines
13] Given below is the link to the form for submitting the - Song Karaoke file. Karaoke file must be received by Wed 10/23 before the Grand Finale competition day precisely following guidelines mentioned in the form.

14] Please make sure to be available in the hall during the timeslot. When your name is called and you are not available to compete, your entry will be forefeited.
For late submissions, we will have to keep the contestants towards the end of your respective slot plus it will create a lot of planning problems for us as well. Please submit proactively. It is extremely important to have correct naming standards followed while submitting the karaoke file to avoid rejection of submissions. Please follow the instructions given in the form and help provide a very good experience for you and audience.
1] It is MANDATORY for the contestants to join only one of the following group for your location. (Only for contestants, NOT for Audience). Mandatory. All instructions will follow in those groups.

Whatsapp is a free app available to everyone. Feel free to signup if you don't have it for the purposes of this competition.
2] Please reach the competition venue at least 30 min before the competition to sign-in.
3] Center 2 seats in 1st row would be blocked for the contestant family to photo/record their contestant’s performance. Please do use that to take videos / photos and post to your social media account.
4] 20% of the final points would be given by In person audience votes.
5] Contestant gets 4 min per song (15 sec grace time). It is perfectly fine and encouraged to end the song earlier but exceeding the time limit will result in negative points.
6] Karaoke music would be provided by the participant. No live instruments would be allowed.
7] Group contains maximum 5 participants.
8] 80% of the points would be evaluated by a team of judges.
9] 20% of the points would be decided based on audience votes. Please encourage your friends to join the contest and vote for you (and other contestants) using a physical form.
10] Audience entry is completely FREE.
11] Reading the lyrics from a paper is not encouraged but allowed whereas holding or using any electronic device (phone etc.) in hand or otherwise (for queues or feedback) is not allowed.
12] Shruti is allowed but no other live instrument (tabla, guiter etc.) is not allowed.
14] The participants will be penalized for not following the rules on time limits.
15] This is an “Indian film songs” competition. participants singing non filmy classical music renditions will be disqualified
