5th National Youth Convention NYC 2025

Sewa International invites all our LEADs to the
5th National Youth Convention (NYC) 2025.

Saturday, July 26, 2025
11 AM to 3 PM ET (8 AM to 12 PM PT)
Virtual (zoom) Convention

It’s a mandatory event to be attended by all the LEADs from all Sewa chapters. The convention will feature about 1800 high school and college students as part of our youth cohort from across the US.

Prioritizing Wellness in Youth to Build Resilient Communities

“From Wellness to Resilience- Together We Thrive”

The purpose of the convention is to provide a platform to present the work done by LEADs throughout the year, interact with each other, get motivated by listening to inspirational speeches, participate in live panel discussion on the topic of their choice and pass a resolution around our theme.

Let’s celebrate your success and motivate you to go even further!!

Please register at the earliest. The deadline is July 22nd, 2025.

While registering, please select two topics of your choice for the panel discussion sessions. You will be assigned to one of them where you can actively participate and learn!!

NYC will be split into 4 different sessions:

  • Session 1 - Welcome, National Anthem, Sewa Geet (Entertainment), National LEAD Presentation, and Regional Video presentation
  • Session 2 - LEAD Alumni Panel Discussion and Regional Video Presentations
  • Session 3 - Parallel Breakout Sessions featuring Panel Discussion on various youth-focused topics:
    1. Leading with Kindness – The Youth Path to Social Justice
    2. Innovate for Good – Turning Ideas into Impact Perfectly Imperfect–Letting Go of the Pressure to Be More
    3. Thriving Through the Storm – Resilience in Uncertain Times
    4. Success, Reimagined – Finding Meaning Beyond the Resume
    5. Spend Smart, Live Well – Making Smart Choices as a Conscious Consumer
    6. Everyday Leaders – Creating Change Without Needing a Title
    7. Ethics in Innovation – Making Sure New Tech Doesn't Harm While It Helps
    8. Finding Your Balance – Navigating Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Health as a Youth
  • Session 4 - Resolution Passage, Regional Video Presentations
